The problem with 2012 and Blue was common problem. When the studios spent so much of money on graphics or under water photography and locales, they wont have any money left to pay for story writers. So, they formed a story out of blue.... 2012 was really disappointing... I wanted to drop in new threat on this titled "Things I learnt from 2012, movie" _________________________________________________ "Chandrudu kanapadaledhani edisthe, kalla nindaa neellu nindi nakshathraalu koodaa kanapadavu" |

2012: Graphics amogham, but the same old rotten story of world coming to end and how US champions the cause ... it was irritating to see the story taking turns but at the same time spell bound with the special effects ... Blue: I never knew that based on one small point ... a producer can blow up so much of money .. yet another time, ARR's foot tapping music gone wasted ... the most important episode as it would be projected in the movie, about getting to the fortunes in the lady blue ship, is over in 10 minutes .. and rest is all crap ... |

Inglourious Basterds: Finally when Aldo Raine marks the fore head of "The Jew Hunter" and utters "Man, this is my master piece", a big smile surely emerged on my face for the sheer intelligence of Quentin Tarantino. Although, I still feel Pulp Fiction as his best work yet, Basters is still the master piece of Dirty Dozen sort of movies. The dialogues were ultimate. People initially complained it of being preechy and lengthy and I somehow missed it in theaters. I regret for it now. The movie is thoroughly entertaining and at times disturbing too. I recommend this to all movie lovers. 4.5/5 Wake Up Sid: I am confused. If the director wanted to show "boy turns to man" sort of movie, Farhan Akthar already did it with Lakshya. Or was he trying to show it as "Boy remains Boy" always, as far as relations are concerned? The movie was tooo predictable and formulaic approach. One of those Karan Johar films again, where he wanted to show western relations and call them as growing patters in India. The movie is watchable for entertainment and for the casting. Ranbir was superb, Konkana was usual self. Songs by Shankar, Eshan, Loy suited the mood. 3.5/5 _________________________________________________ "Chandrudu kanapadaledhani edisthe, kalla nindaa neellu nindi nakshathraalu koodaa kanapadavu" |
