Tollywood villain-turned-hero-turned-politician M Mohan Babu says he has given up politics long back, but he is still interested in politics. Participating in a television chat show, Mohan Babu said politics have become a profession for making quick money. âSee the assets of a leader before becoming an MLA and after five years of being an MLA. You can find out yourself how politics has become a lucrative profession,â he said. The senior actor said at present he did not belong to any political party, though he now has a relationship with Y S Rajasekhara Reddy family. âFor that matter, I have distant relationship with Chandrababu Naidu as well,â he pointed out. Asked whether he would go back to the Telugu Desam Party, Mohan Babu said with a sarcastic smile: âI will think about it.â On whether he would support Jaganmohan Reddy becoming the chief minister, he said he did not want to make any predictions. âHe is now my nephew. I wish he would reach higher positions. I also have a lot of regard for Rosaiah garu,â he said, like a typical politician. |
