Ragging cheste friends avuthara? Yes, according to a student in Sekhar Kammula’s Happy Days. According to TCP sources, the Censor Board members didn’t agree. Evaraithe college lo kotthaga join avutharo, you are expecting to get a warm welcome and looking for a friendly smile but what you get instead is something contrary. The thought of ragging sends shivers down the spine! There have been umpteen deaths associated with ragging and ragging is banned in almost all colleges and the college prospectus says that clearly in its rules and regulations still it happens and not much is done about it. The members felt that it was a negative aspect and the system should not be supported by a powerful medium like the films. The other words used in the dialogues written by the director too was objected like nee yamma, nee abba, pori abe saley, etc., but looks like the first word went under the scissor. Only a lady seemed to support the director today and she was seen arguing that the word ‘nee yamma’ was also used in films like Samarsimha Reddy. By the way Kamalini Mukherjee plays a brief role of a lecturer. This one seemes to have got U/A. |
