that was the best oppurtunity for indira gandhi to end the kashmir problem....but she couldn't utilize it...we actually gave some land back during simla agreement The Indian Army quickly responded to the Pakistan Army's movements in the west and made some initial gains, including capturing around 5,500 square miles (14,000 km2) of Pakistan territory (land gained by India in Pakistani Kashmir, Pakistani Punjab and Sindh sectors was later ceded in the Simla Agreement of 1972, as a gesture of goodwill). if you ask any strategic analyst they will tell you how we squandered a god sent oppurtunity ...nehru, indira, rajeev all these people screwed up the kashmir problem to an degree that we will never be able to regain what is ours rightfully | ||
