Are you in US or UK? Over here almost everyone I know uses cetaphil soap and cetaphil moisturizing lotion. They are mild and most recommended by doctors. You can get them in 2bottle packs at Costco.

I always hated the brand name "mother care", as if fathers dont care for their babies. And respected the brand name "mammas and papas". But, after looking at you, no wonder the guys named it "mothercare". Not "parentcare" nor "fathercare".... shame on our indian fathers.

Well, for my sister's daughter, I have sent many items including lotions, liquid soaps, shampoos of mothercare brand from UK. But, ultimately my mother suggested that usage of two portions Olive oil (which is ideal for skin use, not the usual cooking one) mixed with one portion of Almond oil can be used as baby lotion. And it proved to a great option for my niece and she is 16 months old now. Otherwise, use any one which doesnt have much chemicals. Here in UK, doctors suggest not to use hard soaps and oils for baby as it might cause rashes on skin and can increase the risk of skin cancers in long term.

Ultimately, use the one which can make your baby comfortable and happy.
