rains have been lashing maharasthra and karnataka for the last 5 days.... the IMO issued a red alert 4 days back that the reservoir levels at all intervening dams and check points on krishna are at their fullest....yet....the gates of srikakulam dam were not raised till last evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMO regional director maa cousin valla father in law...AP has the worst flood disaster recovery setup in the whole country annaru........ None of the chief engineers at the dams in AP have a diploma in disaster managenment which is MANDATORY in all other states.......Govt of India passed a legislation under Vajpayee govt that all CE at all dams receive a diploma in disaster management at the national disaster management institute..... ippudu AP lo unna okka CE kooda idhi teeskola......sreekakulam dam CE yavahon ta...aa daridrudi peru....half of the time off duty untadata.....ee kukka..... ninna podunnane fax pamparata Maharasthra director general of IMO...to srikakulam dam CE and the regional office in vizag asking them to look at the dam's status immediately......since that idiot was off duty (WITH OUT APPLYING FOR AN OFFICIAL LEAVE), his sub ordinates had to wait until afternoon to catch hold of him.... |
