getaflix, may be you can do baby steps towards improving concentration. try to read 1 page for couple of days, increase to two pages after that and go from there. If you try to recall everything u read in that one page or if u can write down the salient points from that one page u read then u will feel good about urself and helps me read more. At least that works for me. In office or technicla reading if the chapter I am reading is boring I move on to interesting one and come back to boring one later. Giving u ideas on what I do. May or may not work for all. My biggest problem these days is people who type big emails. email lo 4 lines kante ekkuva vunte I just zone out. |

naa height 5 ft 7 in.. weight 176 pounds.. two months back 183 pounds unnanu... my triglycerides count is 317... which is too high....but my cholesterol and BP are normal. can you guys suggest me any High protein Indian diet... only chicken elaa thinedhi ani aalochisthunna -------------------------------------------------------- Reentry garu, naku antha idea ledu. KKD, RA, dhaarkaar baga ideas ivvagalaru. With triglycerides u will have to cut out rice like anything. Can you eat tofu? May be you can eat various daals, beans and tofu and not eat rice on a daily basis. Last year (or early this year) when I was trying to reduce cholesrol number I ate salad with chicken almost everyday (u can substitue chickpeas or red kidney beans for chicken) and I ate 1 or 2 rotis with a ton of curry. I ate blueberries or grape tomatoes everyday (lots of vitamin C and antioxidants). I took the fish oil pill everyday. I worked out every single day including weekends. I walked everywhere instead of driving. I cut down to 1 cup of coffee with 1 spoon of sugar and I drank 2 liters of water religiously. Dooes this help? |

Cocanada: Guttonkay: cocanada, yoga is not BS. I took a streching class last year and it helped enormously. I however don't know if yoga alone with help with weight loss. Is 10lb loss a short term or long term goal for you? You can try the cabbage soup diet if u r really into the short term thing. It's supposed to be a very good detox diet. One of my collegues lost 12 lb in a month and half by doing it repeatedly. The thing with that is if you don't keep portions small after u finish the one week of diet weight will come back in no time. Another colleague of mine lost 5 lb in 1 week with it. thanks annai i will definitely try it. my mind is trained such that i think anything that is natural and organic will not harm you i tried acai berry detox over the weekend and it helped. My belly feels light and flexible and i feel more alert!
Experience bati seputuna...even though if u lose weight(10-15) pounds by doing( GM diest or any diet), u will regain them in no time if u strt having ur regular diet..mainly in short term goals u will loose ur water weight in the body...so tinandi..excecise cheyandi..pounds tagandi... |

I tried the GM diet and lost around 4 pounds in a week... the problem is with the 5th and 6th day where they suggest to eat BEEF (class 1 protein) and we indians try to substitute with other proteins which wont work that much |

cocanada, yoga is not BS. I took a streching class last year and it helped enormously. I however don't know if yoga alone with help with weight loss. Is 10lb loss a short term or long term goal for you? You can try the cabbage soup diet if u r really into the short term thing. It's supposed to be a very good detox diet. One of my collegues lost 12 lb in a month and half by doing it repeatedly. The thing with that is if you don't keep portions small after u finish the one week of diet weight will come back in no time. cocanda, depending on how ur body is right now you can lose 2.5 lb a week if you workout 5 to 6 hours a day, 1 hour a day. Eat very little. If not all 10, you can lose 6 or 8. Which is also good. Just get started and see how it goes. Even if you don't lose all 10 lb or 8lb which is ur goal, u will get a toned look which people will notice and u will feel good. |

U r not supposed to drink water while eating. Wait 30 min after eating to drink. I think that's easier said than done.
