it is very difficult to find the exact co-ordinates of the root-cause .. you can isolate the network from which these packets are originating ... but most of the times, these clients bounce from one net to another as well ... since most of the times they use virtual host environments, even the MAC on such packets would be simulated one ... the best we can do is to enforce some kind of of client authentication on the networking elements like routers to block such entities at the perimeter level where service providers enforce such rules/restrictions ... | ||
