221(g) pink form ayithe adminstrative proceesing...AFAIK since u submitted u r passpport to the embassy during the interview , this is probably a request for a new passport bcoz the old one is in bad condition....if u get a new passport and send it then there should be no problem | ||

as long as 221G is not issued no need to worry....but if iam not mistaken they would say right away ur visa is issued or they need any evidence | ||

221G is requesting for more evidence anukuntunna....few weeks back a new H1B in our org went to india on client related work n yet he was issued a 221G cause the company holding his H1B was shady....he was working on VAT related area in the implementation so he was very precious...we had to send the letter from CFO as proof.... | ||

Hello Der mama!! My brother-in-law also got the same problem, as his passport was in a bit bad condition. So he applied for it and it took two weeks. so later he sent the passport to chennai embeesy and surprisingly he got it in 2 days from he sent it peoples star YSR amar rahe!!! | ||

The back side flap of my passport was a tad shrivelled and was peeling off at the corners. Thats all. I suspect whether the pages in the passport were about to reaching exhaustion. I have US student visa,UK study visa, UK work visa and a canadian visitor visa......with multiple stampings..... | ||

went for H1B stamping at Hyd yesterday....the consular officer told me that I will receive my passport in 2 days. Today I received an email from INV hyderabad stating that " Please submit your new passport to VFS" as the subject. I am confused. Is it a bad sign??????? How can I obtain a new passport in India when I have been living in US for the last 5 years???? How long does tatkal take??? |
