Inspired by MrHyderabad mama "Is this taken?" He looked up at the girl. She was tired. He shook his head, "Nope". The girl was relieved. "Thank you" she said and sat beside him. He wanted to hold it back but he couldn't. The words came out of his mouth before he knew what was happening. "Are you taken?" The girl gasped. "What?" "Do me a favor. Please tell me if you are taken! I will look elsewhere." He decided to take the conversation to its logical end - perhaps a slap from the lady or a full dressing down by everyone in the bus. She looked at him seriously. "Yes I am taken." He nodded "Thank you" and peered out of the window into the darkness. The girl had planned the excruciating two hour journey back home in great detail - to sleep all the way. The situation however was a little off track! She couldn't sleep. The guy didn't ask her any more questions. He simply looked out of the window. She felt a little guilty. He just inquired. He did nothing wrong. Did he? "Hi, I am Mrudula. Just taken aback by your question. Put yourself in my shoes. Wouldn't you be zapped if someone asked you so bluntly?" She said. He looked at her, "Prashant - Yes, you are right. I am sorry. I need a crash course on talking to beautiful girls." She smiled. What the heck! "Why are you so desperate for a girlfriend? Can't believe you are still single." He was surprised. "Why?" She looked around. No one was paying them any attention. She quickly kissed his cheek. "You know! You are incredibly handsome. Hunk o' Rama! I am taken already. Otherwise, I wouldn't have passed this one up." He froze. The bus stopped. She smiled again, "Best of luck dear" - got off the bus and disappeared into the concrete jungle. The End.
