Another puzzle: A farmer died and left 17 buffalos to his three sons. In his will, the farmer stated that his elder son should get half 1/2, his middle son should get 1/3rd , and his youngest son should get 1/9th of all the buffalos. During a Alumni meet, four gentlemen were discussing their starting salaries back in 2000. The salaries were Rupees 8,10,12 and 14 Lakhs per annum. Well the Doctor earned the most. Arjun earned more than Bharat and the engineer earned more than Deepak, the accountant. Charan could not remember what he started on. Bharat, the lawyer did not start on Rs.10 lakhs nor did Deepak.
