Vegas pro and ulead video studio 11 more or less have same features i guess. But i am looking for tips / techniques to use those features effectively. For ex: in our movies we see multiple images of hero with different costumes appearing on the screen etc. Also i want to keep complete frame in sepia or black white except for one person object for entire duration of one clip (2-3 minutes) I have been trying to get some info to create double action scene like in movies (merging two different clips) If god doesn't like the way I live, let him tell me, not you | ||

Its the new PS3 slim to be released next month. For $300, you are getting gaming console, bluray player, 120GB hard disk. Nothing beats this deal!! Go for it. The Onkyo HT package is nice, but the receiver has just pass-through ports for HDMI. I suggest to go for higher model like 6200/7200. | ||

That's good so far. If you have a bluray player connected to TV via HDMI, the TV outputs audio to receiver only via S/PDIF, losing the HiRes audio. The new codecs in bluray audio like DD+, TruHD, DTS-MA can be passed only through HDMI. | ||

Better way of hooking up is: Source ==HDMI==> Receiver ==HDMI==> TV Pros: One HDMI cable to TV. Switch input sources on receiver and not on TV. Audio sources do not need TV powered. Cons: Receiver needs to be on all the time. Other way of setup: source ==HDMI==> TV ==Optical==> Receiver Pros: You don't need receiver to be powered all the time. Cons: The input ports on TV are limited, so can not connect lot of devices. | ||

HDMI pass-through ante, audio+video goes from source (cable box/dvd/bluray) through receiver to TV. Receiver can not decode/read the audio off the HDMI signal. This is a limitation of receiver. Newer/better receivers can decode audio from HDMI and pass it to TV. This way, you do not need TV while playing audio CDs. I would recommend one without HDMI pass-through. | ||

I have no experience with it, but reviews chooste, idhi bagane unnatlu anipistundhi. costco lo demo emaina undha?? Couple of things to note: Speakers are powered from electrical outlet. 15W/channel may not be adequate. I see that you can add more speakers into the system, if you like (plus). There are no reports of wireless interference with other devices (its a big plus). Overall very nice unit with the convenience of placing speakers anywhere. | ||
