The small town I work in is still feeling the ripple affects. The Kmart is closing in November and a Grocery store in December. That will be 100 people out of jobs, which may not seem like that many, but in a small town with no jobs available at all, and most of these people that lost their jobs are elderly who have been at those stores forever and are not even making ends meet, it is a horrible time. The economy is going to tank. They are false signs and Obama has done nothing to make this economy come back to life. Parachute drops of large amounts of money really has no long term value, if they really want long-term growth, lets try less taxes on everybody, business and individuals. That would bring stability instead of the uncertainty we see now. Obama failed completely..... Oy Oy | ||

Several economists like Harry Dent and Peter Schiff are saying this is the rally before the collapse. They are saying end of 2009 to early 2010 the real depression will begin. We'll see how it turns out, but if healthcare passes or if congress decides to do another stimulus, the debt load that adds to this country could indeed be the spark that ignites the collapse of the dollar. First they said it was 'V' shaped recession Next thing to say was it's gonna be a prolonged 'U' shaped one & the next thing after that is 'W' shaped recession Right now it seems we are now in U shaped recession & heading towards W |
