Yes, it pays irrespective of govt or private. AFIAK, US lo government hospitals levu except Army and Navy hospitals. Only private hospitals exists that are partially funded by State governments in return to setup hospital in rural districts by their group. ne security and safety kosam kaduthunnavu....govt hospitals anevi unnaya ikkada...atleast ee health care reform pass chesthe the uninsured people will be mostly under govt healthcare and middle class will be solely under private insurance firms.. this is one of the reasons why we pay more money because the private health insurance firms have to negate so much of unpaid bills by poor and uninsured people | ||

Emergency lo health care free. But 50% cases dont pay bills. So the cost offset is done insured members. I worked for a project on the Health care costing Data model. It is shocking to see the business rules and numbers we get on the emergency visits to hospitals.
