Jokes apart, it is very simple. You recorded on mini-dvd with handycam and the files are already in DVD-video format (as you can see .VOB, .BUP, .IFO files). There is no need to edit or covert any video files. Use your favorite dvd burning software (Nero/Roxio etc). Select "Import DVD from Hard Disk", choose the folder where you copied the files and click burn. Good to go. If I am not wrong, you should be able to play the mini-dvd off the camcorder in your pc/dvd player straight. | ||

b found this by googling.. Neither Windows Movie Maker nor Windows DVD Maker will handle .vob files correctly. I convert my.vob files to .wmv using either Windows Media Encoder or VirtualDub for MPEG before importing them into WMM or WDM. | ||

i dont have those s/w. I do have only this which came along with this new laptop. right now I dont have enough time to d/l those s/w and to do is there any way to create DVD using windows DVD maker if so i would like to know what kind of files i have to add so that I can write full length DVD video into my new DVD. I copied all the files from small DVD which is in DVD Handy cam into my local drive. I can see following list of files. .VOB .BUP .IFO I tried to add .VOB file which has main Video. But its not showing full video.. already 2 DVDs wasted...  pls help me What if I do I can write full length of movie into my new DVD. Thanks in Advance Driving is my PASSION.
