I believe marriage day is very special. Once in a lifetime exp (well mostly  ) ... union of souls in love. It needs to be celebrated and needs to be rejoiced coz the memories will last a lifetime. But celebration here IMO differs from person to person. In my case, I wud get the same joy when I marry in a temple/church/marriage registrar (lol as i am atheist) with my few close frnds n family .... or marry the same person in a pomp setting with trumpets blaring ....horses ...dances ...money thrown over ....expensive chandeliers ... biggest marriage hall in town ... all steps and mantras chanted out to perfection ... tons of food (half of which is wasted) ... and an empty pocket afterwards. Ceremony and celebration shud be planned .... whts use of celebrating when u gonna pay the loans for ur marriage for the nxt 5 yrs? Yup people will remember the wedding blah blah but IMO i don't care wht ppl think if i got married in a hush hush setting. Family n few frnds who really mean somethin to me. Lols mams I had this experience a cpl times already ... since then I avoided frnds like that. I don't believe in this statement mama. Matching is not age driven. Don't matter if u are 20, 25, or 40 ... u need to be patient ...do ur analysis and search .... socialize and find 'that' person.
Are ur views are solely based on arranged marriages ... but I mock that concept? Yes I agree stalling marriage based on ur present hardships is not cool ... kaani you always have to find a comfort zone (more favoring circustances according to your and your partner's views). Itz just prioritizing your life. Marriage is one of the most imp decisions in ur life and you need to put in that xtra effort to find the right person, correct time, circumstances, and do your analysis. Well after all that too things might not work thats a diff story. IMHO u shud not resort to marriage because: 1. Friends take money from u and then use ur bachelorhood as an excuse to return money. 2. Just to show your ex that you too found 'the' person. 3. Parent pressure or as you said "mari old avuthe valladi vallake gurthu undadu.. u will no get same extended love from parents after certain time". This is a joke in my opinion. Why wud your parents ability/inability to love you drive your decision to marry and find a person to 'replace' your parents love --- we are comparing apples to oranges? 4. Sheer boredom and that resulting in you finding some random person as your life partner (after what talking to them for a max of a cpl days in case of arranged marriages) 2. I completely agree with u mams .... but still life is not as rosy and breezy as you are portraying it. There are many parameters that ppl (well I do) need to consider before walking the altar. Financial stability ... full time job ... finding the right partner ... having the right mindset. Hurry hurry lo marriage jarigi antha time lo set avuthayi ante kashtam ... it varies from person to person ... some ppl wait for the right time ...some marry and then build from there. People will know when they are ready (of course when not forced by parents). As in my case, I have been in a relationship for an year. I know this is the girl I gonna marry ... she knows that she gonna marry me. We are pretty happy without marriage ... im a consultant .... job ekkadosthado ..eppudu pothado teliyadu ...she a student pretty tough schedule and immersed in her tasks. Circumstances and present situations mixed with a drive should influence your decision to marry. Folks of mine keep askin and forcing me to marry soon ... but I know I am not ready. I need more time.
