Heavy bats ... nope. More of a lighter bats person. Kookaburra bats are good light ones kaani blade koncham sannaga vuntaayi (at least the one I have seen) lols. Not a big fan of long handles though! Slazenger pro blade ... ma frnd has it ...gosh too much vuntadi adi. Recently introduced mongoose bat looks funny ... it looks like an oar of a boat - and is expensive like fcuk. are you a heavy bat person or a lighter bat person. If you are a person who likes swing the bat i am guessing you like bats on the lighter side. i like kookaburra lighter bats better, they have a very good arch on the surface. i am a heavier bat person, and i like SH for the heavier bat. master uses SH too  the world of appearances may or may not be real, or both may and may not be real - or may be indescribable; or may be real and indescribable, or unreal and indescribable; or in the end may be read and unreal and indescribable - its all Syadvada | ||

Yup mama. Was reading abt this and in order to achieve the baffling 'S' trajectory pace, release, ball condition and seam position are vital cogs. I bowl medium and reversing wud be improbable. While practise I do wanna take some sandpaper and 'work' the ball beforehand and then try it (Shiny side facing into the batsman). Next fascination Malik batz. These bats were made famous by Afridi. bowler needs to be able to generate good speed for this to work. shine on one of the balls is almost always necessary for reverse swing, and release of the ball needs to be smooth, if you are a bowler who uses a bit of wrist to release the ball it will be very difficult for reverse swing to work. usually works for folks with long fingers better. the world of appearances may or may not be real, or both may and may not be real - or may be indescribable; or may be real and indescribable, or unreal and indescribable; or in the end may be read and unreal and indescribable - its all Syadvada | ||

Couple of yr ago I attended a training camp in India, I was bowling to a under-13 kid..he was playing elegant shots, suddenly one ball cut back in and hit him on the cup..thwaat..came the sound..he was ok but his cup was broken into pieces old id - balapam | ||

I get that occasionally not often and never consistently. Itz pretty hard to do! Usually the problem with my bowlin is that I aim for accuracy and that compromises my pace ... I still have to find that Holy Grail of bowling accurately and fast. We thrashed a cpl Pak teams a while ago ...But ...Boy those guys bowl like FCUK. Haha thts pretty true ... ours is division II antha thop teams vundavu ... our team too is not tht great. Batsmen (inc me) suck at swing. I hate inswinging balls (lol) ... shud work on playing them late. Reverse has always mesmerized me ... Flintoff .. Jones gadi 05 Ashes spell ... WWs and recently Gul. Always want to try it ... shining one side is the best option u can also try rubbing one side of the ball on the ground more often...or u can do what Imran did frequently rub one side with a bottle lid | ||

Bore koduthundi ... thinkin abt this wknd cricket match. We guys are well placed in an acc league and desperately want to win it. Was wondering does anyone bowl reverse swing? Any inputs on how to reverse it better. I don't bowl that fast but me a medium pacer. Does pace play a role in reversing it better? 12-15 overs into the match the ball gets considerably old ... and my teammates can't shine a particular surface ... they rough up both the sides ... its pathetic after yelling @ them to constantly do so and they don't stupid ppl.
