Sobhanbabu fan and senior most trade analyst Vijay bhaskar review :- I saw Magadheera yesterday (I did not see Chirutha, so this is the first film of RCT I saw). The film is a must-see film for all Telugu film lovers. Rajamouli should be appreciated for his concept, vision, and clear-cut 100% transformation of his vision into a celluloid epic. I do not want to go into logics of story as the story line itself is illogical. The way Rajamouli treated the story is superb. We can see in many scenes that there were a number of scenes shot but not in the film. I think editor did an outstanding job for this film without missing continuity. Rajamouli did a very careful job in etching RCT's role and RCT did do good home work for his role. RCT had given superb performance in emotional scenes. He has to improve a lot in comic scenes. I felt like he imitated his father in uttering certain dialogues. He has to come out from that. I really felt that Chiru's appearance is not at all necessary in the film. Dheera Dheera Magadheera song was shot excellently. Bangaru Kodi petta was choreographed very well. Panchadara song was also shot well. Kajal looked very beautiful. In the aspect of settings, I think Rajamouli is better than Gunasekhar. Yamadonga and now Magadheera settings prove this. The whole historical part is really outstanding. Now, we can proudly say, there is a director called Rajamouli who is our own great Telugu film director. RCT succeeded in taking his father's image and craze on his shoulders and proving that he is going to stay at top like his father. With the second movie itself, he proved that he can successfully handle a high-budget film very easily. The film's budget can be covered easily within first 4 weeks with all other costs including publicity, prints, etc. and the fact that covering such a high budget within initial few weeks itself tells that the film is a mega hit. Many people are telling that the film will not have repeat run. I do not believe so. The film will definitely have repeat value because of the grandeur of the film which cannot be seen properly in a CD or DVD. PVNarasimha Rao Past lo India President.  |
