Mass mama, well I feel its a magnum opus of RM - the greatest work of RM till date. BTW me being a Jr fan, I felt YD was the best RM cud come up with on such a large scale. I loved YD. MD was a giant leap from YD in terms of RM's work. It shows how much perseverance and creativity he has in his repertoire. Though the 1st half was ok, he more than made it up in the second. No stupid violence (most of the violence was like poetry a la 300) and no vulgarity of the heroine ... even kim sharma and mumaith khan kuda not depicted in a vulgar way. I really enjoyed this movie ... after a long hiatus of me watching telugu movies. Well I donno why ppl come up n point out some illogical scenes like sri hari's jeep hittin roflcopter ... sparks when hero touches heroine in 1st half etc ...now cmon its actually pretty cool ... we cud save the 'be relaistic' tag when we see other realistic genre movies! Loved the atmosphere in the theatre yesterday ... well usually its pretty noisy for big hero films ... yesterday's crowd was pretty quite (even @ Chiru's entry) and well behaved ... that made me enjoy the movie more - the silence ... lol. Awesome ante second half ki anticipation mama. The talk surrounding it ... I was looking 4ward to the flashback episode. First half ok vunde. Songs picturization awesome. Charan shud improve his dancing, dialogue delivery and expression a bit more (as time goes he will get better ... regular scenes that do not involve horseback riding ... sword fighting lo chaala try chestunnadu ani anipisthundi ... it shud be more effortless and that will ensure he will be a great actor in future ). Kudos to the effort he put in. Bangaru kodi ...song ki dance OK vunde. None of the songs were WOW ...except for Dheera Dheera. Chiru ... hope this is not the last time I see him on screen  2nd half enti saaaaaaami SSR adaragottadu. I had to pinch myself again n again to see if wht I was watching was true. Kajal looked ravishing ... her portraytal as the princess was so good ... SSR got the best out of her. RCT action 22222 good in fighting sequences ... horse riding scenes keka (i also loved it when badshah --- his horse saves him from the quicksand) ... Yup watched 300 ... yup watched gladiator ... but not once did I feel a certain scene was funny since it was heavily inspired from the mentioned films --- thts why SSR rocks. I think it wud be interesting to see Charan's next film ... how he wud act n dance in it. It wud completely depend on the director's caliber to bring out the best in him at least for a couple more yrs ... Charan shud avoid trashy stories and Magadheera shud not be a film which ppl remember as where Charan peaked. He shud take this momentum and groom himself ... he is a hard worker and surely with all the expectations on him will become more n more well rounded acting wise. Sri Hari acting was loud n ok. That villain was excellent (donno his name) ... wow!!!! I loved the second half. Epic. A magnum opus all the way. Hope this movie does very well and Charan ... for his second movie my God ... hats off! Some fine tuning will take that dude to greater heights. Overall movie: 8/10 Charan's acting: 8/10 Kajal: 9/10 SSR direction: 9.5/10 MMK: 6/10 (keeravani shud have done better) Sri Hari: 8/10 Villain: 9/10 Story: 7/10 "One of these days I gotta get myself organizized" - Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver. | ||
