any city that is dependent on one industry for survival goes thro bad phases like this. Hopefully detroit will rise out of the proverbial ashes of auto industry.

maa voorlo within 2 miles 6 starbucks vunnayi. Starbucks is another example of overgrowth due to short sightedness. 2 out of those 6 locations are closing now. Overpriced overburnt coffee tagadaniki $3.50!

Suffice to say, that no national grocery chain operates a store in a city in which 30 percent of residents are on food stamps. And -- gasp! -- there are only four Starbucks outlets within city borders.
