So think from there how much you are paying extra for such laptop. Cost co computers pricing is high it is worth buying only in rare cases with coupons and special deals. Not regular though. For working with .Net, Web servers and two to three databases running together buy a Dell Latitude E5400 series notebook or an HP Compaq business series laptop. (Lenovo lost its charm) If you want to mix entertainment factor together, you can consider XPS series in Dell. This laptop comes with Express slot, e-SATA, HDMI Output slots. I assume E5400/E5500 also come with these ports. Lenovo/Thinkpad used to be good. However the latest T400/T500 do not come with any extension cards (not even SVideo.. which sucks and it useless without these for home-office purpose).. It is no longer useful for any multimedia purpose. I do not recommend them anymore.
