Film_fan:huge pressure on Mitchell johnson......if he fails......then England all the way.....
I think this will be punter's last Ashes in England....if he clicks...lot of runs in less balls and pressure on England North is another cool customer...if he can replicate his SA series performance then England will have to deal with big lower order partnerships A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject. |

Oz will handle pressure better and will take Ashes home --- test matches....England are not bad at handing pressure.... ODI and T20 is an other matter.... and they are playing home..... "Any one who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new" - Einstein |

my prediction is england 2-1 bopara is in fine form.....strauss and cook on home pitches are a handful.... Bell may not get the chance.....KP is big series player...flintoff i doubt would play full series.... bowling is good for england.....ofcourse....Mitchell johnson is the best of both teams.....but england has variety.....Swann is bowling well.....adil rashid is doing good..... Braod, sidebottom,Anderson with Harmison chances of playing later on after his good showing against aussies tour match.....looks more strong as a unit for me..... aussies openers are struggling as of now.....late order.....contribution on Mithcehll johnson....with Lee out of contention and weak lower order.....i would be surprised if aussies can post above 450 in any matches..... huge pressure on Mitchell johnson......if he fails......then England all the way..... england kee keys are younger players like cook, bopara who dont have to deal with a mcgrath or warne... last time colly vs warne soothay ...abbo abbo... anderson bowling is a key ..he has been pretty consistent...same applies for broad... usual suspects KP and flintoff will do well but england chances will be affected by the aforementioned batch anukuntunna Liberty is too great a virtue to be buried in books |

Humpty_dumpty:Oz might pull it off...they did well to win in SA..of coz SA were looking exhausted... naa key positions for Oz- opener - hughes or katich should play at leat 3-4 really long innings middle order- hussey and haddin- should add 100-150 plus with last 4 wickets atleast every 2 out of 3 times fast bowling - mitch mitch mitch weak spots - spin, allrounder options, ponting captaincy

Australia key players -- Clarke, Hussey and Johnson. England key players -- Pieterson, Flintoff (full fit) and Strauss. Lee breaking down is a big blow for Oz but Clark is also a very good bowler; It will be a closely fought contest....Go Oz!!!! Only Pak can do it and probably West Indies can come closer to their performance. Only the 4th Test that Sri Lanka has won without the magician Murali playing. A giant leap for SL to play without Murali in a home Test Series. |
