travel time reduced to 7 minutes ata. toll is Rs 50 one way. The place where the bridge was ending was not selected correctly ata. Initial budget was 300 cr, but actual is 1800 ata. | ||

1999 lo Worli nunchi Bandra povali ante, Worli lo train ekki DADAR lo digi. Dadar nunchi malli western railway trains lo Povalsi vochedi. Train lo velthe ne okka 1:30 hr pattedi. Ippudu e bridge tho 20 mts lo vellochu anukunta. Traffic chala tagguthundi, Bus travel ekkuva aipothundi Bandra to Worli. PVNarasimha Rao Past lo India President. | ||

Looks very good  The Bandra Worli Sea Link is an 8-lane, cable-stayed bridge with pre-stressed concrete viaduct approaches, which will link Bandra and the western suburbs of Mumbai with Worli and central Mumbai, and is the first phase of the proposed West Island Freeway system. The Rs. 1600 crore project of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) is being executed by Hindustan Construction Company. Designs and Project management is by M/s DAR Consultants. Although expected to have been completed by December 2008, after a long delay of 5 years, construction is still underway. The bridge is now slated to be inaugurated on June 30.
