if you ask why only emirates - - its superior service, food quality, IFE - avoid f***ing bombay/delhi customs - avoid 5/6 hours, sometimes overnight wait time at bombaby/delhi airpots for connecting flight to blr - other option from atl is lufthansa charing almost $2000 | ||

emirates vadiki ATL base ledu...so, ATL nunchi BLR vellalante ATL-JFK-Dubai-BLR idi typical route. this guy has codeshare with Delta for ATL to JFK leg, and from JFK its Emirates. ippudu emirates.com velli ATL-BLR search kodithey 1 economy ticket is showing $3820. ala kakunda, JFK-BLR kodithey its showing $1364 for the same dates. so just ATL-JFK part add chesinanduku its showing whopping $3820 fare... nenu ATL-JFK separate ticket on delta koni, JFK-BLR separate ticket on emirates konta..comes to 180+1364 = approx 1500+  added advantage: you can do through check-in at ATL itself upto BLR because delta and emirates has tieup and also delta will do the baggage transfer to emirates at JFK even though its separate ticket. no worries.. only disadvantage: if you want to reschedule the ticket you need pay penalty on both the tickets. i did the same thing for family when they left for india during may. i saved approx $400 on each ticket for 3 tickets. if someone has similar plans, hopefully they will get benefited with this.. http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/8911/atlblr.jpg http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/6874/jfkblr.jpg |
