When I was 5 year Old, In my village we used to have a big chintha chettu in our backyard. My mother used to make delicious dishes from its produce like Chintha chiguru pappu, rasam and chinthapandu rasam, chutney etc. We had to leave the village after 3 years and I really missed that tree, because I used to play a lot on that tree and sleep under its shadow during summers and I thought no one will be there to take care of that tree anymore after we leave the place...Anyways, the point is that when I visited my village after few years, to my surprise that tree not only doubled its size but also gave rise to small pilla trees next to it...May be that tree was not that happy with us.  Having said that, vivekananda on one hot outdooring day said to one of his disciples that "do you think you are different from the Sun you are trying to escape?" meaning that everything in this world is connected...nothing is isolated. Difficult to argue against it and at the same time difficult to convince the existence of the "emotional" attachment between plants and humans. | ||

Personally, I believe when a person pours their nurturing energy into taking care of a plant or another being , it creates a strong sustaining bond between the two that makes them interdependent on each other's wellbeing... Its a big tree.. water wont be an issue.. seen a few cases since long.. there was this case of this huge orange tree.. grandma of that home was deeply attached.. that tree was cut.. she was not aware as she stopped venturing out.. within few days she too passed away to join the tree! | ||

we used to have 2 pameranian dogs .... one died due to ill health..veteranarian could do any thing...he said operation is too risky and suggested it live as long it can.. and within a week the other one died....there are no issues with the second one..it was perfectly healthy...but it is like a suicide anukuntunna.. | ||

So.. so.. so.. strange thing happened recently.. owner moved out of the house and there was this huge tree which started to die within a few days.. I have noticed such phenomenon since childhood many times... Its proved that plants do have perception.. we dont exactly know how they do it.. but they too are attached to owners like dogs are.. if you go around your garden and say hi to your plants every morning they do feel happy and give more flowers and fruits... |
