Definitely. Inagine if you have 2 kids, then the minimum spending amount required a month is atleast Rs.50,000 - Rs 70,000. (Considering the fact that you lived at least 6-10 years in US and expect to maintain atleast 50% of US life style) 1. Apartment Rent - Rs15000 - Rs 25000 2. Car loan - Rs. 15000 - Rs 25000 3. Food exps _ Restaurant Exp s - Rs 10000 4. Kids school and activities - Rs 20000 5. Phoen + Cell + Internet + etc = Rs 7500 Still to be covered Medical + Travel + parties etc just to get an idea about how much salary you need | ||

We are so much used to the work culture here in US where there is not much micro management. There there is a lot even you are manager. 5. These companies - no work from home even in emergencies. 6. In one company - closed circuit cameras. etc As I said earlier, things can be different for each other. I must have got a bad deal which does not necessarily happen to you. So, besides that typical politics whcih are very intese due to heavy competition. | ||

OAKridge school lo ayithe yeat school fee is around Rs 2 lacs. per kid. Chirec ayithe around Rs.1.30 lacs. Upto 5th class, getting seat is very difficult. Getting seat in Bhavan's, jubilee Public school is impossible. | ||

Ikkada point emitante, everybody does not have to face same problems. But one thing we need to understand is going to India on vacation is different from going to India for good. Vacation meeda vellinappudu chala fun ga vuntundi endukante no responsibilities. Just enjoy. But when you move for good, right from the beginning anni problems. 1. First rental apartment - 2. Kids schools. 3. Kids activities - anni duram. - for example Kids school nunchi vachesariki chala late avuthundi, heavy home work and no time for any thing else. 4. Unlike in US, it is not possible to get things done by yourself. Especially for women. Driving is not easy due to traffic. 5. Job is a big thing. Cultural differences chala vuntayi. In spite of all these, still you can adjust and enjoy provided you get a decent job and you decide to get rid of the habit comparing US life with Indian life. Lot of NRIs prefer to stay in and aroung Hitech city because of proximity to schools, and also kids' activities etc. But rents are very high. | ||
