for suppose repu govt says everyone should pay 500 ante kadtava?

>> penalty on anyone who refuses to purchase affordable health insurance

mostly poor people have to buy this insurance.
and for miidle class and rich, they have a choice to buy their own insurance. and company sponsored group insurance for those who work.
neninka aa draft chadavaledu. i am sure affordable means it will be less than $100. govt can give free food coupons to poor but they have to earn atleast $100/month to pay for their health insurance.
disabled people have medicaid and old people got medicare. its been there since many years.
i am against Obama's socialized policies. but health insurance policies OK naaku. blind ga oppose cheyyanu. anyway okasaari nenu study cheyyali. health insurance company nunchi bayataki vachaka pattinchukovadam ledu. claims choosthe thelusthundi ee country lo doctors entha dochukuntaro.

This is like having compuslory minimum liability insurance for your vehicle which is riduculous...

But government run health care, insurance, fits cleanly under the category of Socialism. In fact Hillary Clinton is the one that proposed that if parents don't buy insurance for there children then there wages will be garnished.

If this isn't a wake up call to everybody that wants government insurance/health care, that it is nothing but a power grab then you people are truly asleep.

This is the way I look at it. You can't pay your medical bills your credit rating gets screwed, you have a hard time getting a loan. If you don't pay into the government system they will dock your paycheck. Your name will probably also go into a computer system and you don't get treated.

I don't have any problem in buying affordable health care....

But later 6 months, I don't want to buy the minimum affordable health care insurance because I don't want my insurance provider to pay for the Government run health care services once when Universal health care comes into play...

This is pure socialism

HOLY CRAP..!! Lobbyists strikes back again..!! Now there will be a compulsory health insurance law that is enforced by fines. If they cannot afford health insurance how can they afford fines? This is a violation against poor people.

=======================

I do not think that people are not buying INSURANCE because of their laziness but may be because they are not able to afford it.

http://www.cbpp.org/cms/index.cfm?fa=view&id=628

Key points:

# Lack of insurance is much more common among people with low incomes. Some 24.4 percent of people with incomes below $25,000 were uninsured in 2005, almost triple the rate of 8.5 percent among people with incomes over $75,000.
# African-Americans (19.6 percent uninsured) and Hispanics (32.7 percent) were much more likely to be uninsured than white, non-Hispanic people (11.3 percent).

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who was a New York senator at the time as well as a presidential candidate, said a mandate was essential. At one point, she said she was open to garnisheeing the wages of anyone who refused to comply.

Garnisheeing wages...??? Are you really serious..? How on earth can they sleep at night. This doesn't benefit to the people. I feel the most enraged ever about Obama now that this news has come out. The quote above is from the same source story.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- House Democrats drafting health care legislation are considering slapping an unspecified financial penalty on anyone who refuses to purchase affordable health insurance, officials said Monday.

These officials, who include both Democrats and lobbyists briefed on the emerging proposal, also said top lawmakers may call for a new tax on certain health insurance benefits as one of numerous options to help pay for expanding coverage to the uninsured.
