Let me take my personal experience and then apply the same to majority MS folks.. As soon as we do MS here, esp in 2003 there were no jobs for freshers. No campus recruitments. Had to fake 6yrs and defended it well at the work place. I was paid 22/hr. For a 6yr experienced american, do you think he will take 22 an hr. Out of our dead need, we are bringing down the market rates here. H4 to H1's ni theesukunte, 60K ki egiri gantheshi pani chestaru. I dont follow you...the pay associated to a work is not an indicator of the quality of the people working on it......just remember: " There is work that is ought to be done irrespective of its categorization as high level or low level. A worker who finishes the work assigned is called an employee irrespective of it being gardening or programming. I think you need to come out of the mindset that Indian companies don't have the sort of skill sets that people here want. Not every white guy acts like a Typical Indian lazy fellow... I know folks who charge 120-150$/hour for just configuring connections between two different apps.... you may have a conflict with my statement saying "If Indian can charge 60$/hour for the same job and can finish the same task with in 4 months instead of 6 months"... But the same white guy can finish the task with in 45 - 60 days given the chance... and again It doesn't have to be a white guy...Even exceptional Indians can finish the same task with in 45 days - 60 days given the 120-150$/billing... The difference between 60$/hr & 150$/hr guy is 60$ guy starts his job with browsing Internet going into forum websites and calling his friends on cell phone and browsing db's ....and finally completes the work with in 6 months - 1 year 150$ guy is particular about his targets, working hours, time spent on every thing.... he is the real consulting guy... finally finishes his task with in 45-60 days... And I still don't like CTS,TCS scumbag companies... | ||

I seriously doubt about your reason for denial... I haven't heard any transfer denials if its a visa transfer to American companies but not CTS,TCS,etc....
