Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce, the powerful body of Telugu Film Industry, took a very controversial decision that might lead to a big storm in the industry. It imposed virtual ban on top director S S Rajamouli by asking all the bodies related to the industry not to cooperate with the director. The decision was taken after the complaint lodged by producer Chanti Addala who claimed that the director was paid sum of Rs 5,00,000 out of Rs 20 Lakhs of remuneration in September 2002. But Rajamouli could not work with Chanti Addala, hence the producer sought the amount with an interest to which Rajamouli reportedly declined. So the Chamber resolved that Rajamouli should pay about Rs 25 Lakhs with 36 percent interest per annum. Further, the Chamber took a very controversial decision by asking all the bodies not to co-operate with him for about six months.

Rajamouli along with the director’s association is expected to take strong reaction and his action of plan would be announced in a two days.
