Depends on where you are... If you are at the bottom of your scale - bonus is better... If you are already at the top end of the payscale for the grade...promotion is better , because your pay hikes will stagnate at the top - moving to the next grade gives you the opportunity for future hikes. In our company promotion means nothing, just a change of "Band Level" on paper. A couple of Band 3 Engineers made more money than Band 4 engineers. My Answer, not just Bonus, but "Pay Hike" | ||
