now this speeding ticket is 1st in 8.5 years driving history // take it easy... two, three times tickets vaste anni sardukuntaayi, first time kabatti baagaa feel avuthunnatlu unnavu. I got tickets two times in 10 years. First time feel ayya, second time light theesukunna. My last ticket was in July 2005. Most insurance companies dont consider ticket if it is more than three years. My suggestion pay the fine and forget it. If the insurance premium increases, shop another insurance, you will get at good price | ||

I think you are lucky, he just gave you a ticket anukuntunna. If you are going at 25mph than what's posted, they can send you to jail. Regarding the ticket, my friend was fined for speeding in AL, but he had license from TN. Points carry over avaledhu mari. I don't know what's the understanding b/w PA and VA. | ||

Usual ga pakka state lo ticket vasthe points padavu. Just fine kadithe saripothundi. Points paduthaayi anukunte, hire a cheap lawyer (my friend got one for $500 including fine to be paid) and got the "Defensive driving course" option as it was his first offense. But, not sure if you can take that course in VA for an offense in PA. | ||

Brothers, urgently need some advice... Yesterday night I got a speeding ticket on xShitty PENNA Turnpike (xShitty because this hopeless Inetrstate switches Speed limits every 20-30 miles and once it is 55MPH, and than 65MPH like that...)!! I am a VA resident with VA license, and now this speeding ticket is 1st in 8.5 years driving history holding FL, PA, VA driver's licenses!! Presently since 1.5 years my driver's license is VA state's!! The speeding ticket is for driving 84 MPH in 55 MPH Corridor! I just entered PA turnpike from Interstate 79, and from 65MPH speed limit seems changing once 55 and once 65 like that! As it is late in the night and had to drive 170 more miles to reach home was lil impatient and was driving at 80! What are my choices? 1) Pay $187 fine to PA and get out of this? If did so by PLEADING GUILTY will I get points on my VA license? 2) Shall I PLEAD NOT GUILTY and go to Megistrate Court? The speed seems to be tracked by RADAR! Will I be able to justify saying I am on some 70MPH bla bla bla (technically I feel guilty as I know was driving above limit)? 3) If I PLEAD GUILTY and payoff what are the repurcussions? Speeding ticket is in PA and my license is VA...any chance I will not get points? How about Insurance? Will they screw me? 1st ticket so will I escape? Please advice me...as this is my first offense and don't know which is right for me! |
