I see people into software for over 25 years and still living in Apts and driving older cars, managing with not so good health insurance just because they do not want to let the Kids work and earn for their college. sarcatic gaa kaadu ! practical gaa, leaving in US it is very difficult to raise to the kids , 1) You may get help from india , from parents may be 2) Both Wife and husband working , no parents help -> day care etc etc, very hectic, 3) Only husband working, less income, still more than 2 kids wife will have issues to take care of them induvidually,, Our generation is different, so female counterparts have their aspirations and individuality and they have equal rights and hopes, Emotional issues, not many relatives etc 4) finally the financial implications, also it depends on case by case | ||

that is excatly where my views differ, My parents sent me to better school in India, even their status was to send me to municipal school, in the same way , I feel the schools here in US or not good, private schools are better and they are very very expensive, For ex: in some schools you have to pay 16K for 8'th grade, You have to save for retirement, college education , house payments etc etc, | ||

MY grandsparents had around 6 kids, Comming to my parents and their siblings had 2 in general, My generation had 2 , various reasons, From my view , I fell it is better to give kids good education and send to good schools and take care of them, ----------------------------- views differ and respect it | ||

Ravino , why do you generalise all? each have thier priorites, By the time people settle well, with house etc they are around 30 , so 2 kids they will be around 33-35 years, Prime time for the kids are over, More over the private education in US is very expensive, you cannot afford to send your kids to good schools if they are 3 or 4 , Unless the parents are doctors, it is very expensive | ||
