"yes. But dealer can check with the lender and let u know right away..i don't understand why or how u walked out of the dealership without locking the apr."

Bedar....what is locking APR means? They offered me 1.9%, I signed papers for 1.9% and all the papers showed my monthly payment based on 1.9% APR!! I think when you bought car you too did the same!! But...but...the trick is when you go to the finance guy and sign the paper work YOUR APR IS NOT FINAL...it will be sent for approval to lenders (probably 2-3 lenders) and once they approve THAT IS FINAL!!

Ade wait chesthunna...koduku ippudochhi LENDER did not approv antaademo ani!!

>>but naa question yentante are there any chances that they come back saying the lending companies did not accept 1.9% APR...and give different payment options increasing the APR?

yes. But dealer can check with the lender and let u know right away..i don't understand why or how u walked out of the dealership without locking the apr.

When I bought the car, dealer offered me 4% apr and i paid the downpayment. They asked me to go to finance dept to do the ppr work for the loan. Fin guy said my apr would be 7% as i m taking car loan for the first time. I asked him not to bs..and made it very clear that I will not buy the car unless he gives me 4%. final ga 4% je ichhadu. Usually, dealership will make money by selling loans for high apr even though we quality for low apr offered by the banks and they will keep the profit.

So you MUST shoparound for the loan before going to dealership.

Venu mama
congrats on new car. What I would in such situations is take 0% APR card for 10K or more and payoff upfront. Then pay off this 0% regularly for 8 months and take another 0% APR for another year.

ippatiki nenu 3/4 0% APR for an year nadipistunna :-)

MrHyderabad

If we can get 5.9% or so...you are true! But what people were saying it is difficult now a days to get loans especially in low APRs...my bank offered me 8%, but if I take in 8%, payoff and get 1750...it will help me only if I am paying off in 1-1.5 years...otherwise I will end paying more!

Politricks:

I cannot payoff for sure

I am not suggesting you to payoff from your pocket. That will be the dumbest thing to do.

As i said before, get loan from a bank for 5% or less and pay cash to dealer to get rock bottom price. You may end up paying less than 1750 for 2-3% more apr.

That's why people advise you to shop for the loan on your own before going to a dealer.

If you can manage to get 5% APR from your bank, then you will still be eligible to get 1750 dealer discount.

Dealer ki okasari call chesi adagandi about your doubt. You can try calling anonymously to inquire about their APR offer.

Vignulu cheppandi nenu corner ayyanemo...

Last week bought NEW CAR! The sequence and discussions ila vellay...

1) SALESMAN gaadu naa credit run chepinchi ochhi I can get 1.9% APR for 60 months annadu....but if I take that offer I will not get special that was going on ($1750 off invoice price) annadu! Ade special offer kaavali ante 8.9% APR ayithe ok annadu!! Okay....nenu ippudu $17.5K yekkada down chestha le ani 1.9% APR for 60 months ki OK anna! To complete paper work inkodi daggara ki pampaadu!

2) BUSINESS MANAGER gaadu lopala pogaane yentha down chesthav annadu! I said 0 down! Sare ani paper work modalu petti oka maata annadu....Nuvvu first time BUYER (I bought 2 used cars before and for both I paid off on spot to the tune of $12,000) applying for loan so...0 down ante memu financial institution tho fight cheyali for 1.9% APR ani cheppadu! Technically naaku appudu telsindi aa 1.9% veellu ichhina they need to get approval from lending company ani!! Aa time lo yemi artham kaka sare le ani oka $2000 down chesi car teesukoni ochhesa!!

Now my question is....

1 Month valid temporary registration ichhadu....I will have to collect the tags once they are ready at the dealership! Ee lopu I think they will work with the financial institutions and send me all the paper work and payment schedules! LAST 5 DAYS LO NAA CREDIT EXPERIAN, TRANSUNION CHECK CHESARU NAAKU TRIGGER AYYINDI! This all makes sense...but naa question yentante are there any chances that they come back saying the lending companies did not accept 1.9% APR...and give different payment options increasing the APR?

Sudden gaa aa doubt ochhindi! Subbaram gaa naa nundi paper work sign cheyinchukoni ippudu APR maristhe yeti seyyali? Already 1.9% ani unna paper sign chesa but when I check now in fine print they have written provided the APR is approved ani!

If they come back with 1.9% not possible etc...what are my options? Just wanted to be prepared if VERY surprisingly they come back saying that!

Advice ivvandi....plzzz!!
