There is an act in the constitution against denigrating national symbols called the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act ... Misusing the national flag and anthem, to dishonour the country are prohibited ... so the Supreme Court is absolutely right in banning the song... Anand garu.....Now you are venturing into a complete different zone....A filmmaker can depict watever...its the responsibility of censor board to stamp an R rating on it and keep kids away if they find that kids are not matured enough to understand the content.... But personally I think a programme aimed at kids "Shakthimaan" did more damage to kids than any R rated movie.... inga if they r really concerned they can censor the song when it airs in media during day hours and format it to a level where kids can see just like in USA.... they r not showing this song in schools right??? | ||

I heard the song and I have absolutely no problems with it....It seems like a genuine outcry at how the essence of our national anthem has been abused by greead n corrupt axss rulers....The voice and lyrics are passionate and the point to be noted is the anthem is not being used as an item number but as a means to show the frustration of someone who cares..... Saying this I do have doubts on the intentions of the filmmaker helming this song....he doesnt seem to come across as someone who cares for anything other than his film.....he is just being smart here by sensationalizing something which is so sensitive.... If someone like manoj kumar or vidhu copra who genuinely cares are behind this then the court approach might have been different anukuntunna.... But the supreme court is definitely at fault....they should just see the case as a case and not wat kind of a person that they r dealing with.... They should have let him use it....
