Telugu Student was attacked and seriously injured in robbery incident in Mississippi, USA Murali We are deeply saddened to inform you that a telugu student Mr. Kadiyala Murali Krishna currently pursuing Masters Degree at The University of Southern Misssissippi is in critical condition and undergoing treatment in intensive care unit. Murali Krishna was brutally attacked by an alleged shop lifter and drove him away from gas station. As per the published reports, Police said suspect Ray Anthony Crawford, 40, allegedly walked out of a Shell station at 2500 25th Ave. with beer he didn't pay for and tried to leave in a gold Mitsubishi Galant and drove into the Murali Krishna, dragging him several hundred feet before he fell on the road, said police. Mr. Murali Krishna Kadiyala is currently studying Master of Science in Computer Sciences at University of Southern Mississippi. His condition is still said to be critical and is being treated at The University of South Alabama (USA) Medical Center- Mobile, AL. Murali Krishna Kadiyala is from Gudivada village near Tenali in Guntur District. Students reported the incident to Chicago Telugu Association Help Line. Chicago Telugu Association is in constant contact with the friends of Murali Krishna at university and monitoring the situation. Chicago Telugu Association is determined and committed to provide all possible help and also trying to work with authorities in Hyderabad to get the passports for his parents they are planning to come to USA as soon as possible.
