Remember money is only a promise. It is worth what the people believe it is worth. Do you really think China is going to stop selling stuff to America? If Americans suddenly stop buying Chinese products what happens to their economy? Who will pick up the slack? And Russia, if the dollar tanks, does that stop American nukes from flying? I seem to remember Europe and USSR in dire straights after the last couple wars. They came back. Arab countries are too backward. One coordinated economic/nuke strike and they are stone age. The question is who can bring these great powers together? WHo can get the major economies under central control for the generous benefit of all? Who will finally grow tired of 3rd world countries controlling the economies of advanced peaceful nations, just because they have the oil..... Who will make a name for himself as the ultimate peace maker? | ||
