Kenrockwell, idhi varaku kooda evaro suggest chesaaru IBDB lo anukunta. he's basically a nikon guy. Ye camera review ki ayina, nothing beats Nikon D40 antaadu. Megapixels don't matter unless you are planning to take prints a few feet wide antaaadu. |

From KenRockwell: The D60 is just a D40 with more pixels, but slower shutter speeds with flash outdoors and less basic light sensitivity due to the smaller pixels needed to jam more of them onto the same-sized sensor. |

Jalsa:Nikon D5000 paina opinion cheppandi. It doesn't have a built-in image stabilizer like the D90. Flash sync speed is slow annaaru, idhi entha varaku effect choopisthundhi?
Nikon and canon body's doesn't contain the IS..its incorporated into their lenses. Nikon calls it as VR lenses (Vibration reduction) lenses where as canon calls it as IS lenses. Where as sony and i guess olympus also incorporated this feature into their camera bodies. |

/For amateur photographers any brand is OK. D60 with VR lens is lot of camera for the price. Look for good deals as you have no brand preference. From my experience, you need lot of interest to try and experiment with SLRs. There is a long learning curve and you will enjoy each trick your practice. After couple years of usage, you will realize what features you are missing and appreciate when you upgrade the camera. The reason people prefer Nikon/Canon is not just the brand value. There have excellent lens and accessory support. In the DSLR world, you start with basic camera and add lenses/accessories over the years. If you are going to stick with entry level camera then you are free to choose any brand. Tail piece: If you are going to shoot in "Auto" mode all the time, drop the SLR and buy a P&S camera.// Thank you. yeah, auto mode lo petti chestey inka konadam waste. alaa ayithe naaku, kkd ki different etuntaadhi |

Truelies:Simba, I want to setup a basic home studio for taking portraits. do you have any idea about the equipment? thanks.
I don't have any idea on this. Recent ga intiki B&H vaadi catalog vachchindi. Andhulo, B&H is selling some kind of studio kit for about $300. I can check the catalog when I go home. I think it is some thing like this with studio lighting. Plus you need some draper or curtain for background. |

If you are going from NJ, try the LSP park & ride. Very cheap and convenient. 3 bucks a day for parking. You can hop on to light rail to exchange place and then get PATH or ferry from there. Perception is immune to Intellectual Correction ... |
