Rising 84 lo only MP elections after India died were held if i remember and TDP won around 29 then. sensing that NTR went for Mid-term in 85 and won. 1) Cong is unbeatable after EVM are started[Though only 2 elections these can be considered lucky mascot] 2) TDP always fares badly when Assembly and Parliment electiosn are held togother. Only exception is 1999 Where TDP tagged with a winning party at center 3) Also TDP never got majority seats for parliment when tagged with communists [I am not sure about 1984] 4) CPM won more seats when contested alone in 1999 compared to 2009 with MahaKootami Please post if you observe any interesting info NBK/YSR/OT |
