First of all, let me congratulate Congress for winning enough majority to rule at both Central & State. And Kudo's to Voters Verdict. Once again Voter proved to be very intelligent than Political pundits or leaders. VOTER GAVE JUST ENOUGH MAJORITY to Congress to rule independently and made sure that ruling government is given Strong opposition, WHICH IS VERY CRUCIAL FOR A DEMOCRACTIC PROCESS. I am VERY HAPPY for the following: 1) Congress winning central government on its own. Its AGENDA won't be highjacked by these petty parties with 5+ MP seats. 2) State Congress government is going to have majority on its own, but at the same time it is going to have numerically higher opposition which can make sure that corruption (which was rampant in last government) will be in control. 3) TRS is almost (for all practial purposes) out of influence and State will remain UNITED. 4) PRP is taught a lesson by electorate that JUST BECAUSE ONE is popular in ONE field doesn't automatically get them power politically. For political power, you need to have convincing argument and sincerity in your efforts. Congratulations to Sonia/ManMohan Singh for their commendable Victory and to YSR for going it alone and getting enough majority. As far as STATE Congress is CONCERNED, all the CREDIT goes to YSR ONLY. Personally I am little bit disappointed for TDP not coming to power, but they did put up a good fight and are rewarded by enhanced numbers compared to last elections. WINNERS in this elections are: 1) Indian DEMOCRACY. 2) Congress (Sonia/Manmohan at central & YSR in the State) LOSERS but Winners 1) TDP (enhanced Strength) SORE LOSERS 1) PRP 2) TRS |
