quote:New Delhi: Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan says the Fourth Front will not allow Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance to come to power but will take a final decision after the results are announced. "Fourth Front will not allow BJP-NDA to come to power," said Ram Vilas Paswan. When asked if he will prefer a United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government or a Third Front-led government, Paswan replied, "Rashtriya Janata Dal and Lok Janshakti Party and are already with the UPA. After the elections what will happen that the three parties - Samajwadi Party, RJD and LJP will sit and take a decision." Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar clarified about his conversation with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh saying there was nothing political in their discussions "I spoke to the Prime Minister on certain issues. We got a letter from the Central Government denying our rights so far as Kosi issue is concerned. We asked for rehabilitation money and got a negative reply. There is nothing political about the meeting with Prime Minister," said Nitish Kumar. He also added that he does not have any issue sharing the dais with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. The Janata Dal (United)-BJP alliance is likely to sweep Lok Sabha elections in Bihar with Nitish Kumar being supported by 65 per cent of the state voters as the most preferred chief minister in a post-poll survey carried out by CNN-IBN in association with CSDS. The combine is expected to win 41 per cent of the votes polled and a majority of the seats with the RJD-LJP combine securing just 28 per cent of the votes. Congress may increase its vote share by a big margin but is unlikely to win many seats.
