Brother, dont be so disheartened! If Jan Sangh and BJP are like father and son, then the son is on a winning streak where the father lost miserably. Today, you might not see the kind of 300+ land slide wins for BJP. But what is important is BJP is growing. Its ideology is acceptable to crores of people. People are today slowly realizing that paying Muslims for their trips to Haj is not secularism. Giving Madrasas education of Quran and Hadiths a status equalent to CBSE is not secularism. People are slowly waking up to the truth. Today the literacy rate is around 60%. Take the % of the educated in the literates (to me both are different). It might be around 10-20% (just a guess). As this % of educated segment goes up. It will have a reflection on the governments that will come up. I have a great hope for India. The rise of BJP is guaranteed with the levels of education, religious/spiritual intolerance in the society, psuedo-secularism and its effect on the ground. Have patience ! I wish BJP should win 300+ seats in Loksabha elections.But somehow I feel BJP leaders failed to convey message to people of India about security and safety.Before 26/11 so many blasts happened in major cities and unfortunately people forgot those incidents . Congress and media successfully diverted people form 26/11 attacks to stupid srirama sena activities in karnataka..Here BJP failed to convey message properly to people that their party only will protect this country and people. | ||
