DC Apologises February 24th, 2009 Deccan Chronicle unconditionally apologises for inadvertently hurting the sentiments of some of our readers who have pointed out that Rahman is another name for the Almighty and as such our headline was inappropriate. They do understand what the headline constituted, but point out that nevertheless it should not have been used. Deccan Chronicle never has and never will attempt to hurt the sentiments of any caste, religion or community and we do regret the hurt caused to any of our readers however inadvertent it may have been.
