monna radio chow lo Jim was saying something interesting... Back in 1950s NJ governor said NJTP is very close to break even point.. in next 2 years we will be paying of all expense... and then we can slowly remove tolls etc. They aired his speech... and said even after 50 years we are still paying for something which must have been paid off long ago... Maintenance expense is only a fraction of today's toll collection... rest goes to treasury I am going to Vote for Chiru... | ||

The board of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority voted unanimously today to raise tolls around 40% immediately and another 50% in 2012. A similar 50% toll hike now was voted today by the South Jersey Transportation Authority, operator of the Atlantic City Expressway.  | ||
