Well is it possible to get software like sap IDES on monthly basis? deni medha nuku peddha idea ledhu.. nenu first tim eventunna.. ela monthly base medha kuda softwares istharu ani... Any transition docs from BEX or wad to BO will be really usefull. to get the documents, you should have sap support login, other wise you can the document from guys, who are working on business objects. | ||

BO webi reports can be accessed through portal with some webi dvelopment kit .do u have ne idea about it . can bo reports be integrated to portal and accessed through URL form: ------------------------------ in Business objects , there is a webportal called .. infoview.. after you creating the report , if you save in repository , i.e enterprise, users can acess then thru.. infoview , from there you can refresh , edit , save the reports based your access privilages. ------------------------- QAAWS ( query as a webservice) is diffrent tool in business objects , almost like web intelligence , but you can create only query , you can save this query as url. so you can use this url in diffrent webapplication like crystal xcelsius dashboards. | ||

Integrating BO is not an issue now...as the reports can be exposed as QAWS (Query As Web Service). Any system that is capable of understanding Web Services can be integrated with BO. | ||

most of the BI tools run on a server... product installation, configuration, administration etc are pure IT jobs. Developing reports needs SQL skills (apart from regular skills like DB'ing). Using the reports (developed by the BI developers using SQL and other skills) does not need skills. Most of the business users just use/interpret the results (reports). | ||
