Dear all, I came today from india. I was in Mumbai . Many flights to Mumbai were delayed. I am grown up in Mumbai, but never felt something like this before. Fear of going out, fear of stepping out of the house, going to park, mall, traveling in local train. These are the things which we do everyday. I got a call from relatives not to go out not to take children to mall, or busy places. There were very few people outside. And when children complain, what you will tell them? That somebody is going to come and shoot you so don’t go out?, I know this sounds crazy but this is a fact ,reason was 4 terrorists were managed to escape, such was the fear in peoples mind, and for two days, it gave Mumbai a deserted look. Taxi driver telling me that people are ready to take supari for just 500 Rs, Such is the condition. But yes Mumbai bounced back again, people are going out, but that fear that faith on security , police and investigation agency, government has lost. Finally we are only responsible for this, we only voted this government, so have to go through this. At shamshabad airport, security police were telling that lot of terrorists are active in Hyderabad also. people in Mumbai knows the ground reality that this attack was so preplanned and nobody in government knew about this is very hard to believe. So ultimately the responsibility is of government who knew all this but didn’t act on time, and people like us has to suffer. Today media talk to few policemen who gave their lives , say they are the heros, true but those common people who lost their lives what wrong they have done? Same happened in Punjab, when militants started attacking police families, they were finished, but if common people die no government take notice of it. Many bomb explosions happened in Mumbai before in trains, airport, Taj, sharemarket, but what happened what steps were taken? Nothing. Till now when policemen died. Government is talking of forming separate agency to tackle terrorist activities. It is time that we choose the right government , right leaders, use our voting power. But people like us who are in and above middle class, never vote. So bare it. |
