My Collage who left to India a week back, Had Court Marriage. The New Couple were having Dinner at Taj on the fateful Night - According to Him , few people walked past their table went to next row - Started indiscriminate firing. - He saw people falling for bullets just few tables away - Bullets went thru bodies , shot walls and deflected back - As these gun men moved forward, these couple along with others got escaped. - Maha Police tried to evacuate 25 people from ground floor (1st in US) as they moved to open corridor being bombed and killed (everybody) in grenade attack from top. - So Police stopped all the rescue Operations till Commandos came in. These couple along with other 80 people locked themselves in the basement room for 8.5 hrs. - The wife of my colleague is having nightmares and the both side familes are depressed. - They have in fact planned for a reception at TAJ (which would have happened in next 2 days) - He is back to office and the bride went to UK (as he is the citizen of UK) |
