NB. IF HE IS RETURNING BACK ON OLD VISA enexpired, he is looking good. check his expiry of visa, if he xpired, he neeeds new stamp. if old id unexpired, he can travl back. changing empl does not impact his return to usa on thT old visa. but at port of entry, just show the new i797, new company profile, etc. enough mY Telugu Divine www.gurugeetha.blogspot.com | ||

So I have my friend who is going to accompany me, he has changed jobs in the recent past and has a new I797. His passport still has an H1B on his OLD company's name. So that would immediately classify itself as a PIMS case right? i.e he has to get his visa stamped on the name of his new company?? He joined a firm and worked there for about 6 months and shifted to my workplace. His H1B I guess started somewhere in 2006. Please advise ... | ||

if ur going for a STAMPING of visa, then u should get an update from PIMS . PIMS should have your new I797 form details and petetion details inside PIMS database. PIMS is a system maintained by uscis for ONLINE cheking of approved petetions mY Telugu Divine www.gurugeetha.blogspot.com | ||

I have seen junta here talk of some issue pertaining to reporting to an agency like USCIS. I forgot the name...something which sounds like PIMS or something. Can some one either point me to that thread or provide a snippet view of what I need to deal with. I am planning to visit india very shortly. So any help would be appreciated. |
