The new bond movie as expected is another gritty thriller in the lines of bourne series ,rather than a suave actioner like all pre craig bond movies..... The movie starts with a chase in the scrumptous locations of europe....the chase is another in the face, hard hitting, nail biting, thrill ride similar to the one in beginning of casino royale.... The movie then proceeds into a vendetta fare with bond trying to bring the folks responsible for his gfs death to justice and in his quest for vengence gives us and M a notion of him giving more preference to his personal feelings than the higher cause dat a bond is responsible for.... How bond balances his act of saving the world and in the same time giving it back to the thugs dat caused him so much depsair had to be relished on the big screen..... This bond movie works cause the director was very very succesful in depicting the constant inner struggle of bond ...bond blaming himself for the death of his GF and in turn trying to get salvation from the bloddy violence dat comes with the territory of his Job.... The opera shot was a perfect example of dat..... The movie has overload of thrills.....some are absolutely unnecessary....But even in the most cliched acts of cinema where in the hero and heroine gets lost in a deserted place....the dialogue has been so cleverly used to rescue the scene.... The movie completely relies on daniel craig .....he is not just another bond dude.....he has to ACT....he did an AMAZING job of showing that relentlessness in his face.....his face is calm but his eyes always induce dat intensity and pain dat his character goes through in the movie.... The way he dumps his best frinds body in the dumpster with cold eyes and the shot b4 dat how he craves for him to live.... climax shot when he holds olga and almost puts a bullet in her head when she confesses she doesnt want to burnt alive in fire just like her mom and sis.... Daniel Craig rocks..... in other artists Jeffrey wright is awesome in his short role of a good hearted CIA frustrated with dirty international politics....right from syrinana to casino royal to W and Quantum od solace...this guy is amazing in watever role he is given..... BottomLine____ The movie is not as good as Casino ROyale.....But its certainly more enjoyable as it aint tragic.... FInal Bottomline_____ Daniel Craig  |
