There is an Excel capability to link to a cell on another sheet and will pop up a message if you try to delete the link. Instead of entering the usecase number in a cell next to the testcase id, link the cell to the use case id on another sheet. My manager asked me to prepare a 'Treacabilty Matrix'. I can download any template and can do that. It is no big deal. But, he wants me to do in the same lines what he saw in his previous project.
