For 2G phones its just 2 minutes matter. I unlocked 2G on 1.1.4 firmware. Now i heard unlock is available even for 3G on 2.x firmware. 2. I-phone tho service provider icchey sim card ni, nenu vacchey appudu return tecchukoni, normal phone lo vesi existing contract (I-phone) tho continue cheyyoccha? Ans: You can continue to use the iphone SIM card with normal phone. But only problem is you need to continue to pay the same monthly bill for data plan etc (even though you don't use data plan). 3. EE SIM card tho naku evanna kottha issues vasthaya from my service provider? Ans: AFAIK, there won't be any issues. They don't bother what handset you are using as long as you are paying your monthly bill as per commitment. 4. Inkoka vishayam emi vinnanu antey, if u buy the unlocked phone here, in order to unlock it in India, they have to cut the SIM and add a small chip to it ani na friend cheppadu, Idi Nijamena? Ans: its not true...just unlock the phone and insert india SIM..thats it.. 5. Deenannitikantey best India lo I-phone konukkotam best solution antara? Ans: Its up to you.  let me know if you have any questions. CAUTION: NEVER UPGRADE TO LATEST FIRMWARE AFTER UNLOCKING THE IPHONE. IT WILL BRING BACK TO LOCK POSITION. | ||

We cannot have the US iPhone unlocked in India. Period. Your only choice is buy iPhone in India or buy some other brand from US that can be unlocked. | ||
